Open House Studio sends the listing photos, videos, music, logos, realtor photos, contact details, open-house dates, photo comments, visitor QR URLs and presentation settings you choose to our service. This information syncs saved drafts between authorized devices and delivers presentations to paired Apple TVs. Content included in a presentation is visible to people viewing that TV. A visitor QR code links to the website selected by the listing creator; that website has its own privacy practices.

Accounts, email and devices

The service stores your account email or existing username, a salted password hash, authentication records and TV pairing records. Email addresses are used for account verification, security and password recovery. Verification and password-reset emails are delivered through our mail server. An operator can send a password-reset link to an account’s verified recovery email as a support measure; the operator does not select a replacement password for that flow. Account email addresses are not used for marketing or tracking.

Authentication tokens stay in each device’s Keychain. Pairing records sync through the app account; device tokens are not shared between iPhone and iPad. The server may log request paths, timestamps and network addresses for operation and troubleshooting. The apps include no advertising or analytics SDKs.

The apps access media selected through the system photo and file pickers and use the camera when you choose to scan a pairing QR code. Connections to app.openhousestudio.ca use HTTPS. Sync uses the app account rather than iCloud or a shared Apple ID.

Realtor subscriptions

Apple handles payment for the individual realtor app. The server receives signed Apple subscription transactions and an account identifier to verify access and enforce TV allowances. Subscription ownership is linked to the Open House Studio account; the same subscription cannot unlock multiple app accounts. The server does not receive your payment-card details. The Apple TV companion has no subscription purchases.

Retention and deletion

• Synced drafts: Draft metadata and referenced media normally remain on the server for seven days after uploading changes or tapping Sync. Reading or downloading drafts does not extend retention. After expiry, a device with a local copy can upload it again when access permits.
• Published presentations: Published TV metadata normally expires approximately one hour after publication. Media shared with an active saved draft is retained for that draft’s retention period. Unreferenced assets have a cleanup grace period for interrupted uploads.
• Local copies: Drafts remain on your iPhone or iPad for offline use. Downloaded TV presentations remain cached until replaced, cleared or removed by tvOS. Server expiry does not erase these local copies.
• Clearing and deleting drafts: Clearing a listing removes its published server version and TV assignments while preserving the saved draft. Clearing all accessible assignments revokes those pairings. Connected TVs receive clearing instructions; offline TVs receive them when they reconnect. Deleting a draft sends a deletion marker to prevent older copies from restoring it during sync. Draft deletion does not automatically clear an existing TV presentation.
• Account deletion: Use Delete Account in the app and type the required confirmation. This removes the account’s server credentials, email/recovery records and owned listing content. Other accounts’ content and local copies on devices are not automatically removed. Anonymous purchase identifiers may remain to prevent a deleted subscription being reused on another account. Mail records and backups may have separate retention.
• Designated demonstration accounts: Operator-designated review or demonstration accounts may retain presentation data beyond normal expiry to provide a stable demonstration.

Small ownership, revision and deletion records support consistent sync and remote clearing. Turning sync off preserves existing server copies until expiry or deletion.
